A Message of Appreciation and a Call to Strengthen Support for Iraq’s Stability and Sovereignty
يمرّ العراق بمرحلة حساسة تتطلب تضافر الجهود الدولية والوطنية من أجل دعم استقراره وتعزيز سيادته. وفي هذا السياق، يعبّر المجلس الوطني للمعارضة العراقية عن تقديره لكل الجهود الدولية التي ساهمت في مساعدة الشعب العراقي على مواجهة التحديات الأمنية والسياسية، وفي مقدمتها الجهود الرامية إلى الحدّ من التدخلات الخارجية التي أضعفت مؤسسات الدولة وأثّرت على استقرار البلاد.
لقد أثبتت التجارب أن دعم العراق في استعادة قراره الوطني وبناء مؤسسات قوية هو الطريق الوحيد لضمان مستقبل آمن ومستقر. ومن هنا، يؤكد المجلس الوطني للمعارضة العراقية أن أي مساندة دولية تُقدَّم للشعب العراقي تُعد خطوة إيجابية في الاتجاه الصحيح، خاصة تلك التي تهدف إلى مواجهة النفوذ غير المشروع للجماعات المسلحة والتدخلات الإقليمية التي عطّلت مسار الدولة.
ويواصل المجلس الوطني للمعارضة العراقية العمل من أجل بناء شراكات دولية قائمة على الاحترام المتبادل، ودعم سيادة العراق، وتمكين مؤسساته الوطنية. كما يدعو المجلس المجتمع الدولي إلى تعزيز التعاون معه باعتباره إطارًا وطنيًا يسعى إلى تمثيل تطلعات العراقيين نحو دولة موحدة، مستقلة، وقادرة على حماية شعبها.
إن الاعتراف بالدور الوطني للمجلس ودعم جهوده الإصلاحية يمثّل خطوة مهمة نحو تمكين العراقيين من استعادة دولتهم، وإعادة بناء مؤسساتهم، وتحقيق الاستقرار الذي يستحقه الشعب العراقي.
A Message of Appreciation and a Call to Strengthen Support for Iraq’s Stability and Sovereignty
Iraq is going through a sensitive period that requires both national and international efforts to support its stability and reinforce its sovereignty. In this context, the National Council for the Iraqi Opposition expresses its appreciation for all international efforts that have helped the Iraqi people confront security and political challenges, particularly those aimed at limiting external interference that has weakened state institutions and affected the country’s stability.
Experience has shown that supporting Iraq in reclaiming its national decision-making power and building strong institutions is the only path toward a secure and stable future. For this reason, the National Council for the Iraqi Opposition affirms that any international assistance offered to the Iraqi people is a positive step in the right direction, especially efforts that aim to counter unlawful armed influence and regional interventions that have disrupted the state’s trajectory.
The National Council for the Iraqi Opposition continues to work toward building international partnerships based on mutual respect, support for Iraq’s sovereignty, and the empowerment of its national institutions. The Council also calls on the international community to strengthen cooperation with it as a national framework that seeks to represent the aspirations of Iraqis for a unified, independent state capable of protecting its citizens.
Recognizing the Council’s national role and supporting its reform efforts would be an important step toward enabling Iraqis to reclaim their state, rebuild their institutions, and achieve the stability they deserve.
